Urinary Incontinence

Female urinary incontinence is usually duo to:

  • Weakness of bladder neck (Stress incontinence) 
  • Overactive Bladder

Some women have a mixture of both

Pelvic organ Prolapse

Pelvic organ prolapse is very common and may happen due to variety of factors such as child birth and menopause leading to sagging of vaginal wall and pelvic floor.

Non-surgical treatments include 

  • Pelvic floor exercises
  • Pessary insertion

Surgical procedures include:

  • Anterior vaginal wall repair 
  • Posterior vaginal wall repair
  • Vaginal hysterectomy (removal of womb)

Heavy Periods

There are various reasons for heavy periods. Most common causes are hormonal imbalances and uterine (womb) fibroids.
